Unionid bivalve (undetermined species, possibly Lampsilis bracteata) 11-MAY-13
If anyone can identify the species, please let me know. It resembles the Texas fatmucket, but I have little experience with mussel identification. This specimen dug in quickly after release, and was filtering within a few minutes (below).
